ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has announced a large-scale recruitment drive, which will provide hundreds of government positions that range from BS-01 to BS-18.

Only Pakistani citizens can apply for the open job vacancies. The official advertisement specifies that the hiring process will fill positions in technical, administrative, security, medical, clerical, and support staff fields.

Candidates who possess the necessary educational background and work experience, and meet the age requirements and quota restrictions, are invited to apply.

The advertisement states that candidates must fulfill both the educational requirements and the age requirements that are outlined in the announcement. The standards will start to take effect for all applicants on the date of application closure, which is 01 March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

The Ministry of Defence has provided further details about the age relaxation procedure. The policy permits maximum age relaxation for particular situations and specific categories of people.

Three years’ age relaxation will be granted to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, recognised tribes of Tribal Areas, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Three years of relaxation will apply to candidates from Sindh (Rural) and Balochistan for posts in BS-15 and below. Government employees who have worked continuously for two years and reached the closing date will receive a ten-year age extension until they turn 55.

Officers and personnel who have served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan can receive a ten-year age extension, which applies to their total service time or actual time served, whichever is lower.

Five years’ age relaxation will apply to widows, widowers, sons, or daughters of deceased government servants who passed away during service. Ten years of relaxation will be available for persons with disabilities applying for posts in BS-15 and below.

How to Apply

The Ministry of Defence has established an entirely online procedure for implementing its application system. Applicants can access online application forms and fee deposit slips through the official website www.recruitments.com.pk.

Applicants do not need to submit physical copies of their application forms. The application fee must be paid through the 1Bill invoice system using participating banks, ATMs, Internet Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, UBL Omni, or TCS Express counters.

The system only allows 1Bill invoice payments for processing purposes. The deposit fee remains non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates must ensure eligibility before applying for any post.

The website will provide deposit slip generation services until 2:00 PM on the last date of application. The organization recommends that applicants submit their applications early to prevent any potential problems that might arise during peak submission times.

Application Fee Structure

  • Rs. 2,500 for posts in BS-17 and BS-18,
  • Rs. 2,000 for posts in BS-14 to BS-16,
  • Rs. 1,600 for posts in BS-9 to BS-13
  • Rs. 1,200 for posts in BS-7
  • Rs. 800 for posts in BS-1 to BS-6.

Persons with disabilities are entitled to a fee exemption, subject to the submission of valid disability certificates issued by the relevant government departments.

The ministry has clarified that test and result intimation slips will not be sent by post or courier. Candidates should check the official website frequently while keeping their phone numbers active to receive information about test and result updates.

The candidate must assume full responsibility for providing accurate personal details, delivering documents at designated times, and accomplishing tasks within the predetermined schedule. These factors will form part of the eligibility determination.

The Ministry of Defence helpline at 051-8905000 serves as the contact point for applicants who need assistance with their inquiries.
