LAHORE: Mobile services will be partially suspended in 10 districts of Punjab during the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA). The suspension, which will be in effect from 5 AM to 11 PM, will apply to specific areas hosting religious gatherings, as announced by the Punjab Home Department spokesperson.
The districts affected by the suspension are Rawalpindi, Jhang, Layyah, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Chakwal, and Toba Tek Singh.
Additionally, Mobile services will continue as usual in other districts, including Lahore. This measure is being implemented to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
The Punjab Home Department has informed the federal government of this decision following a request from the police.
