PESHAWAR: At least five were injured including two police personnel in a blast targeting a police mobile at the Warsak Road in the Pir Bala area of Peshawar on Friday.
According to the police, the remote-controlled blast targeted a patrolling police vehicle at around 9 am today which was damaged along with injuring five who were rushed to the nearby local hospital.
Warsak Road Superintendent of Police (SP) Arshad Khan said five kilograms of explosives were used in the blast and were planted in a cement block next to the road.
As per details, police apprehended six to seven people from the site of the bombing and started an investigation.
