Momina Iqbal sends Rs 190 million compensation notice to Allama Nasir Madni

LAHORE: Actress Momina Iqbal, who has been embroiled in controversies in recent days, has sent a Rs 190 million compensation notice to Allama Nasir Madni.

According to the report, actress Momina Iqbal has sent a legal notice to Allama Nasir Madni through her lawyer Adnan Ehsan Khan Advocate.

Momina Iqbal has sent a notice to Allama Nasir Madni under Section 8 of the Defamation Ordinance, demanding an apology from him.

The text of the notice sent by the actress states that Allama Nasir Madni used inappropriate language against Momina Iqbal, Allama Nasir Madni tried to damage the reputation of the institution through his controversial statement.

The notice further states that Allama Nasir Madni should immediately delete all videos related to the actress from every social media platform, publicly apologize for his statement, otherwise pay 19 crores in damages for damaging the actress’s reputation.

It should be noted that recently, Allama Nasir Madni had criticized the actress while discussing the issue of Momina Iqbal and PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar during a public gathering.

In response to Allama Nasir Madni’s statement, Momina Iqbal said in a message on social media that Allama Sahib, you have fueled the slander against me. I will win this case in both the courts of this world and the hereafter, but you will lose this case in the court of Allah.

The actress said that I know how much truth there is in these allegations, or my God knows, I want to tell you that I will not forgive you.

Momina Iqbal, addressing Allama Nasir Madani, wrote that perhaps you do not know how great a sin it is to accuse someone without evidence and harm their honor and dignity.

The actress, citing a verse from the Holy Quran, further said that everything is accounted for by Allah and justice will definitely be done.
