ISLAMABAD: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) is responsible for issuing the Family Registration Certificate (FRC), which details family members. Pakistani citizens can apply for an FRC under the following three categories:
1. By Birth: The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) will include details of your family members, such as your parents and siblings.
2. By Marriage: The FRC will list your family members, including your spouse and children.
3. By Adoption: The FRC will detail your family, including your guardian.
Note that if an individual is not registered with NADRA and does not possess a 13-digit ID number, their information will not be included in the FRC.
Pakistani citizens can apply for the FRC either by visiting a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through the Pak-Identity website.

You can apply for the FRC by visiting the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC). Overseas Pakistanis can obtain the FRC by visiting the relevant mission office abroad.
There are two categories of fees for issuing an FRC:
Normal Fees:
As of August 2024, the normal fee for issuing an FRC remains Rs1,000.
Executive Fees:
Whereas, the executive fee for the FRC is also Rs1,000 in Pakistan for August 2024.
