National Assembly passes five bills in just 12 minutes

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Assembly passed five bills in 12 minutes on Monday.

According to reports, the government quickly passed five bills in 12 minutes during the National Assembly session.

The Federal Law Minister first presented the Civil Servants Amendment Bill 2025, which was sent to the Standing Committee.

Furthermore, the assembly approved the Civil Courts Amendment Bill 2024, the Pakistan Coast Guard Amendment Bill 2024, and the Prevention of Human Trafficking Amendment Bill 2025.

Along with the Immigration Amendment Bill 2025, the Prevention of Refugee Smuggling Amendment Bill 2025 was also presented and passed.

Opposition parties protested during the passage of the bill. PTI’s Yusuf Khan temporarily adjourned the session, citing lack of quorum, but the proceedings resumed when the quorum was met.
