Nawaz Sharif should return back I will pay money for his ticket & will issue visa to him in 24 hours: Sheikh Rashid

KARACHI: Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan will not affect government. Sheikh Rashid said Nawaz Sharif should return back I will pay money for his ticket and will issue visa to him in 24 hours.

Talking to media persons in Karachi, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed offered plane ticket from his own money to Nawaz Sharif and said that three members of the family are already in Pakistan and now PML-N supremo should also come back.

He further said that Nawaz Sharif nothing in UK other than making statements against institutions of the country. Nawaz Sharif is not sick as he has not received any treatment while staying in the UK, he added.

The minister also reiterated that Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his term. Replying to a question, the minister made it clear that civil and military leadership are enjoying good relations, which is healthy sign for country’s development. He said that Imran Khan enjoying good relations with establishment, adding that establishment is the institution of Pakistan, which has thinking of Pakistan’s betterment. He said that if anyone thinks Imran Khan is going somewhere, he is not going anywhere.

He said that no formula is being sought from Asif Ali Zardari, about whom he is talking, they have many formulas. He said that Asif Ali Zardari has talked about camping in Lahore, adding that the time has come for decamping of me and Asif Zardari has come.

Sheikh Rashid said that Shehbaz Sharif should be scared from the day when he will be caged again, adding that anyone could disagree with our politics and governance but there is no doubt that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari’s families are corrupt, dishonest, sluggish and extravagant and they took country’s money abroad.

Sheikh Rashid said that he knew Altaf Hussain from student life, adding that no talks could be held with Altaf Hussain because there are many cases against him, which become cause of violence and unrest in the country. Sheikh Rashid said that he enjoys good relations with MQM yesterday, today and even will enjoy good relations with it tomorrow but no talks could beheld with Altaf Hussain.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the recent OIC conference in Islamabad remained successful under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said the Afghan government has assured Islamabad that its soil will not be used against any other country, including Pakistan.

He expressed regret that Muslims of India are not free to perform their religious obligations due to extremists’ policies being pursued by Modi-led regime.
