Nawaz Sharif’s intervention worked, prices of petroleum products reduced

ISLAMABAD: After the increase in the prices of petroleum products, Nawaz Sharif’s intervention worked. And the Prime Minister had to reduce the price of petrol.

According to sources, there was a detailed consultation between former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. In which measures to provide immediate relief to the people were considered.

On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif directed to reduce the price of petroleum products so that the inflation pressure could be reduced.

Sources say that the Prime Minister decided to reduce the price immediately under the guidance of the party leadership. While Nawaz Sharif also directed to strictly implement the austerity program.

According to sources, more relief measures are also likely to be taken in the coming days to reduce the effects of inflation.
