Opposition vows to block Parliament over 27th Amendment

ISLAMABAD: The opposition alliance  Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ain-e-Pakistan (TTAP)  announced to launch a protest movement against the 27th Amendment.

While holding a press conference in Islamabad,  Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ain-e-Pakistan Chairman Mahmood Achakzai announced to launch a movement and not allow the parliament to function and said that the movement starts from today.

Mahmood Achakzai said that they will start chanting slogans from 8:30 pm and today’s slogan will be “We do not accept such a constitution”.

In a joint press conference, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said that the 27th Amendment has been made keeping in mind the benefits and disadvantages of personalities, the constitution has nothing to do with personalities, the elite is amending the constitution for their own interests.

Senator Raja Nasir Abbas said that the parliament and the judiciary have been destroyed, they are leading the country towards destruction, they will go to any extent to block the path of this amendment.
