Over 289,000 Pakistanis moved to UK in five years

ISLAMABAD: During the last five years, 289,265 Pakistani citizens left for the UK.

The Ministry of Interior has released details from 2021 to 2025, 24,905 Pakistani citizens left for the UK in 2021 and 51,506 in 2022.

In 2023, 79,561 and 62,593 people left for the UK in 2024, while 70,700 Pakistani citizens left for the UK in 2025.

In the last 5 years, 86,976 Pakistani students left for the UK on study visas, and 37,749 Pakistani citizens went to the UK on tourist visas in the last five years.

Between 2021 and 2025, 133,566 Pakistani citizens traveled to the UK from Pakistan on visit visas. In the last five years, the number of Pakistani citizens traveling to the UK on work visas was 30,974.
