ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot posted at MM. Alam Airbase in Mianwali has filed a complaint with Mianwali Sadar Police alleging that a woman blackmailed him for rejecting a marriage proposal.
According to a Dawn report, the case – registered as FIR No. 232/25 – has been registered against the woman, identified as “A”, a resident of Chah Hameed Wala, Gadai North, Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan. The FIR includes sections 419, 420, 500, 506, and 211 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) as well as section 25-D of the Telegraph Act, 1985.
The pilot said in his complaint that he first came in contact with the woman on social media, where she introduced herself as “Rafia” from Multan. During their online conversation, she allegedly shared that she was leading a troubled life and expressed her desire to marry him.
The complainant further said that she invited him to Multan, where they met on April 24, 2025. During this meeting, she claimed that her real identity was revealed – her name was “A” and she was running a fake social media account.
According to the pilot, his behavior raised suspicions, which led to him cutting off contact. She alleged that after she refused his proposal, he started calling her repeatedly, threatening her with “serious consequences” if she did not agree to marry him.
The pilot further claimed that the woman threatened to implicate him in a fabricated rape case. She also alleged that he was a habitual blackmailer, citing her previous involvement in a case registered in 2021 under Section 376 at Multan’s Women Police Station, which she called a false allegation.
