PAF trainer aircraft K-8 crashes in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) trainer aircraft crashed in Risalpur city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district on Tuesday.

Police said that the aircraft K-8 was engulfed in fire after it crashed in fields near the runway wall of PAF Academy Asghar Khanin Risalpur.

The pilot on board was allegedly martyred, police said.

Following the incident, Rescue 1122 officials along with the Pakistan Air Force and Army fire brigade team reached the spot.

Security has reached the scene for further investigation and has taken the wreckage of the plane into custody.
