Islamabad police suspends four SHOs over negligence

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Tuesday suspended four Station House Officers (SHOs) over negligence in performing their duties and failure to control crime.

As per details, the SHO Noon police station Sharafat Ali was suspended for three years with a one-year promotion suspension.

Additionally, SHO Shams Colony police station Muhammad Yousuf, Sabzi Mandi police station Irshad Ahmed, and Secretariat police Ashfaq Warraich station were sentenced to two years of service confiscation.

Furthermore, a police spokesperson said that a Dolphin official was dismissed from service on a bribery complaint.

DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza punished police officials for negligence in performing duties and failure to control crimes, the statement read.

Raza warned that any police officer who exceeds his powers and neglects his duty will face strict legal and departmental action.
