ISLAMABAD: The cement dispatches data show a marginal growth of 1.47 percent in December 2025. The total cement dispatches in December 2025 were 4.347 million tons, while 4.284 million tons were dispatched in the same month of the last fiscal year.
As estimated from the data provided by All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, the dispatches inside the country during December 2025 were at 3.725 million tons, showing an increased trend from 3.5 million tons in December 2024, showing an increment of 6.42 percent.
Yet, the trend in export dispatches kept falling with a reduction of 20.66% in December 2025. The statistics revealed a decrease in volume from 783,550 tons in December 2024 to 621,685 tons in December 2025.
In December 2025, the north-based cement mills dispatched 3.153 million tons of cement, marking a rise of 5.56% from 2.987 million tons in December 2024.
The south-based cement mills dispatched 1.19 million tons of cement in December 2025, marking a fall of 7.94% from 1.29 million tons in December 2024.
North-based cement mills dispatched 3.153 million tons of cement inside the country during December 2025, reflecting an increase of 9.75 percent, as compared to the discharge of 2.873 million tons in December 2024.
South-based cement mills dispatched 572,263 tons of cement inside the country during December 2025, which was down by 8.81 percent, as compared to 627,519 tons dispatched in December 2024.
Southern exports were lower by 7.14 percent at 621,685 tons in December 2025, compared to 669,461 tons in the same period last year. No exports were reported from North Mills in December 2025.
The total cement despatches, including both domestic sales and export despatches, during the first six months of the fiscal year, were 25.783 million tons, registering an increase of 9.67 percent compared to 23.510 million tons despatched during a similar period of the last fiscal year.
The domestic dispatches during the period were 21.152 million tons, an increase of 13.11 percent from the 18.7 million tons of the corresponding period of the last year.
