ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of Pakistan and its Consulate General in the UAE will observe two holidays on July 16 and 17 on the occasion of Ashura.
During these two days, corresponding to 9th and 10th of Muharram, the Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Consulate General in Dubai will not provide any services.
It should be noted that the federal government has declared a public holiday on July 16 and 17 to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions.
Pakistani missions in the Gulf countries offer various services including identity card renewal, issuance of NICOPs and passport renewal.
