UAE now offers work permit cancellation without documents: Details Inside

Dubai: Authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have further reduced the time required to cancel a work permit, here on Tuesday.

As per the details, several government ministries and federal authorities have come together to launch a platform that will make it easier for business owners and private companies to hire new employees and pre-renewal work permits for existing employees.

Under the second phase of the aforementioned ‘Work Bundle’ platform, it now takes just 45 seconds to cancel a worker’s work permit in the UAE, as opposed to 3 minutes without the need for any documents.

The first phase was launched in Dubai in March and is now being rolled out in all seven emirates. The second phase of the work bundle will cover around 600,000 companies and more than 7 million workers, Khaleej Times reported.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government is streamlining visa and immigration processes and in the same spirit, the processing time for obtaining work permits and residence visas has been reduced from 30 days to five days. has been given.

Millions of expats in the UAE, including Pakistanis, introduced a “work bundle” to ease work permit and residency procedures in the private sector.

The work bundle facilitates a number of services including issuing a new work permit, applying for adjustment of status, issuing a visa and employment contract, Emirates ID, accommodation, and medical examination services, among others.
