Pakistan to send medical professionals to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) has announced to export medical professionals to Saudi Arabia, the state-run APP reported on Wednesday.

According to the details, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis’ department, the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), has started collecting data on job seekers who are interested in working.

OEC officials said that only female nursing staff with the relevant qualifications and experience candidates would be eligible to apply against the job.

The required qualifications include a  Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN (4 years) or (Post RN), a Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution, or an SCFHS Diploma in an area of specialty.

Other essential requirements for seeking the job include current licensure as a professional registered nurse, registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, a minimum of five years of current clinical nursing experience, and two years in the specialty area of assignment.

As per the details, the applicant will attach the deposited Bank challan amounting to Rs1000, generated at the time of online application submission.

Interested applicants can apply via OEC’s official website and the closing date for the document submission has been set for February 6, 2025.
