Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts dry weather in most parts of the country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country while it will remain cold in the hilly areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, smog is expected in the plain areas of Punjab while light fog is expected at a few places in the morning and night.

The weather in Islamabad will remain dry and cold, the weather is likely to remain dry and cold in Murree, Galiyat, smog and fog are expected in the plain areas of Punjab.

Dry and chilly weather has been predicted in most districts of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, while the weather is likely to remain cold and dry in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

During the last 24 hours, the weather has been dry in most parts of the country and cold in the hilly areas, however, light fog and smog prevailed in a few plain districts of Punjab.
