Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts more rain & snowfall!

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall with strong winds and thunderstorms in different parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds in different areas and snowfall on the mountains today, fog and smog will prevail in eastern Punjab and upper Sindh.

More rain is likely in Islamabad and its surroundings, rain with strong winds is expected in Murree and Galiyat, rain is likely in Rawalpindi, Attock and Jhelum.

Rain is likely in Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Multan, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Jhang, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalnagar, fog is expected in Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Khanewal, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

More rain is expected in some areas of Balochistan, fog is likely in Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Benazirabad and Mohenjodaro.

More rain is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner and Kohistan, snowfall is expected in Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Orakzai.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with strong winds and snowfall in the mountains in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
