Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts rain & snowfall in THESE areas!

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in various parts of the country.

The weather is likely to be dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be cold in the mountainous areas during the night and morning hours. However, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and adjacent areas may experience partial cloudiness with rain at a few places.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to continuous dry weather and air pollution, the districts of eastern Punjab will remain under the influence of smog, and citizens have been instructed to take precautionary measures.

The weather will remain dry and cold in Islamabad, Murree, Galiat and surrounding areas. Smog is also expected in Lahore, Gujranwala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Multan.

The weather is likely to remain dry and cold in most districts of Sindh and Balochistan, while the coastal areas of Sindh are expected to remain partly cloudy.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kurram and Mansehra, rain at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan and snowfall in the mountains.

The weather in Azad Kashmir is expected to be partly cloudy and cold. During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country while it was cold in the hilly areas, smog prevailed in the eastern districts of Punjab.
