Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts rain & snowfall!

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry and cold in most parts of the country including Islamabad today, with extremely cold weather in the morning and night in the hilly areas.

The weather is likely to remain cold and dry in Murree, Galiyat and its surrounding areas. The weather is expected to remain cold and dry in most districts of Punjab. Fog and smog are expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala and Gujarat.

Fog is likely to occur in Jhelum, Faisalabad, Jhang, Tob-e-Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Layyah, Kot Addo, Bahawalpur and its surrounding areas.

The weather is likely to remain dry in most districts of Sindh, with cold weather in the morning and night. The weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.

The weather is likely to remain extremely cold and partly cloudy in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall (in the mountains) at isolated places along with strong winds in Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir on December 5 and 6.
