KARACHI: Pakistan has announced that it will close its airspace for two days (October 28-29), according to a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
According to the NOTAM issued to all the concerned aviation companies, the airspace will be closed for three hours on both days (6 AM- 9 AM).
Sources say that this decision was likely made in view of Indian military exercises near the Pakistan border.
According to NOTAM, specific routes in the Karachi and Lahore flight regions will remain closed to commercial flights.
