ISLAMABAD: In light to enjoy the Eid-ul-Adha holidays with family, Islamabad district administration has ordered to designate Lake View Park and Daman-e-Koh as family-only parks during the three days of Eid Al-Adha.
Only families will be allowed entry to the parks on all three days of Eid, according to notification issued by the authorities.
Earlier, the administration of the port city has banned the sea bathing has been during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, according to media reports.
Those preparing to take a dip in the sea on Eid have their fun turned sour as a ban on sea bathing has been imposed in Karachi under Section 144.
According to the notification, the ban has been imposed due to high seas and high waves. The ban will be applicable from the Eid holidays to June 13.
Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi emphasised that this measure is a defensive stage to ensure public safety.
Law enforcement officials have been ordered to take action against violators under Section 195 (i) (a) and Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
