PESHAWAR: The Board of Directors of Peshawar Electric Supply Company has approved an annual bonus for employees based on the best performance of the financial year 2025-26, a formal notification of which has also been issued.

The notification said that PESCO’s regular, contract and deputation employees will be given one month’s basic salary as a bonus. In addition, employees working on lump sum and daily wages (daily wages) will be given a performance incentive equal to one month’s initial basic salary.

Only those employees who have been on the company’s payroll for at least six months will be eligible for this bonus. Where PESCO management has given good news to employees, it has also imposed strict conditions to maintain transparency in the department.

The notification also states that employees involved in corruption, power theft and malpractice will not be eligible for this bonus.

Employees facing inquiries from NAB, FIA or other investigative agencies and employees who have been punished departmentally will also have to miss out on this performance incentive bonus.

Those who harass consumers will also not get the bonus. Pesco Company, prioritizing the convenience of its consumers, has said in the notification that the bonus of the concerned officers who are slow or delayed in providing net metering and billing connections will also be stopped.

Along with this, the staff and officers who delay in resolving public complaints received on the government’s 118 complaint portal will also be deprived of the bonus.
