Peshawar blast leave one dead, two other injured

PESHAWAR: An explosion at the CTD police station in Peshawar has resulted in the martyrdom of one officer and injured two others.

According to details, an explosion occurred in the armory of the CTD police station located on University Road in Peshawar, resulting in the martyrdom of one officer and injury to two others.

According to the CCPO, the explosion was caused by the explosion of old explosives stored in the armory.

The fire also spread to other ammunition, which caused further explosions, while a part of the building collapsed.

According to the police, the suspects in the police station have been transferred to the CTD headquarters, while the CTD police station and surrounding areas have been sealed.

The police official said that the clearance process is underway in the area, BDU, rescue and fire brigade teams are carrying out relief work, while initially this incident does not appear to be an act of terrorism.
