ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced a 10% fare discount for passengers flying from Paris to Pakistan.

A PIA spokesperson confirmed the ticket booking period for the discount will continue until February 10 2026. The discounted fares apply to travel during two windows: February 1 to March 10 and May 1 to May 15, 2026.

PIA said the move aims to make travel easier and provide better value on this popular route. Officials briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Privatization said PIA plans to resume and expand international flights.

The airline plans to resume direct flights to the United States when its operations to the UK and Europe reach operational improvement. The government expects to earn around Rs. 55 billion from PIA’s privatization.

The state retains ownership of important overseas properties. Officials reported that the airline has resolved its financial obligations which decreases its impact on government spending.
