PM Shehbaz Sharif, Russian President to meet next week

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Russian President Vladimir Putin are likely to meet next week in China.

According to government sources, a meeting between Russian President Putin and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been scheduled, and the meeting will be next week.

According to sources, this meeting was arranged through diplomatic channels. According to sources, the two dignitaries will meet on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in China.

Promoting relations between Pakistan and Russia is on the agenda, and consultations will be held on regional security issues and global affairs.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In addition, meetings with Turkish President Erdogan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and others have also been scheduled.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in China on August 30.
