DAVOS: US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have signed the charter of the Gaza Peace Board at a meeting in Davos.

At the signing ceremony, along with other world leaders, the Prime Minister signed the charter along with Donald Trump and shook hands, and spoke with the US President.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump, while addressing the gathering, said that the ongoing war in Gaza is nearing its end and Hamas has promised to disarm, but if it does not lay down its weapons, “they will be destroyed.”

President Trump, while starting his speech, described the day as “a very exciting and long-awaited day.” He said that countries around the world want to be part of his proposed “Board of Peace” and that he will continue to work with other international organizations, including the United Nations.

Donald Trump once again claimed that since coming to power, he has ended 8 wars so far and another major agreement is going to be signed very soon. However, he described the Ukraine war as the most difficult issue, saying that it was a conflict that he thought was easy, but it turned out to be the most complicated.

The US president said that 59 countries are involved in the Middle East peace process and many countries have supported the ‘Peace Board’.
He said that if Hamas does not fulfill its promises and does not lay down its arms, this will be their end. They must lay down their arms.

Trump referred to the operation ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ on Iran’s nuclear facilities last summer and claimed that this operation destroyed Iran’s nuclear capability.

He said that Iran wants to talk and that talks will take place soon, while also mentioning the operations against ISIS in Syria.

President Trump said that the threats to Europe, the US and the Middle East have significantly decreased and that ‘many good developments are happening in the world’.

He said that a year ago the world was burning, but now the situation is calming down.

Referring to the Pakistan-India tension, Trump said that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif admitted that Trump’s efforts had saved millions of lives.

He said that after ending 8 wars, many world leaders have become his friends.

The US President claimed that America became economically strong during his tenure, while during the tenure of former President Joe Biden, the economy was in ruins and illegal immigration was on the rise.

He said that a ‘miracle’ has happened in one year, taxes are being reduced and large-scale reforms have been introduced.

At the end of his speech, Donald Trump specially thanked former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who was present at the ceremony, and said, “Tony, it is a pleasure for us to have you here.”
