PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Col (retd) Sher Afgan Khan passed away on Monday, prompting an outpouring of condolences from political and social circles.
Col (retd) Sher Afgan Khan had served as the Director of the Survey of Pakistan during his professional career. After retiring from public service, he entered active politics and joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
He also contested the 2013 general elections on a PML-N ticket, remaining actively associated with the party’s political activities.
The funeral prayers of the deceased were offered in Bhetoch at 2:00pm , where family members, party workers, political leaders and local residents attended to pay their last respects.
