Sindh govt announce public holiday on July 29

KARACHI: The Sindh government has declared a public holiday across the province on July 29 on the occasion of the annual Urs of the great Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, all government, semi-government offices, authorized authorities and local councils across Sindh will remain closed on Wednesday.

According to the Sindh government, the public holiday has been declared in connection with the auspicious Urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, while instructions have also been issued to the relevant departments to implement the notification.
