PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali claims KP CM facing pressure, urges resignation

KARACHI: Advisor to the Prime Minister Ikhtiar Wali has claimed that Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi is suffering from depression and has written his resignation twice.

Speaking on a private TV program, Advisor to the Prime Minister Ikhtiar Wali said that no work is being done in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Chief Minister KP is under internal PTI and external public criticism.

Ikhtiar Wali further said that Sohail Afridi is suffering from extreme depression due to these circumstances and has even written his resignation twice.

The Prime Minister’s advisor said that the people of the province have also understood his drama. It would be better for him to dissolve the assembly and resign and go home, fresh mandates will come in the new elections to run the affairs of the province.

On the KP government’s strike, he said that since the PTI government came to power, the province has been on strike. There are 25,000 schools where there is no water and washroom facilities, animals and humans drink water at the same ghat.

Ikhtiar Wali alleged that if there is anything happening in KP, it is corruption. Drug and arms smugglers are being patronized here.

The Prime Minister’s advisor said that the province’s development money is being spent on PTI rallies, meetings and social media. In 2022, 13 billion was kept for social media influencers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
