Non-bailable warrant issued against Sohail Afridi

ISLAMABAD: An Islamabad court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for his absence.

The District and Sessions Courts, Islamabad, heard a case against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for making allegations against state institutions.

Civil Judge Abbas Shah heard the case against Sohail Afridi. The court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Sohail Afridi for his absence and ordered the arrest and production of the Chief Minister of Pakhtunkhwa.

The court adjourned the further hearing of the case until April 16.

It should be noted that the NCCIA has registered a case against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi under the PECA Act.
