Police recovers kidnapped child from Islamabad Centaurus mall

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has successfully recovered the three-year-old boy who was snatched away from Centaurus Mall that falls under the jurisdiction of the Margalla police station, and they have done so in a very short amount of time.

The police have arrested a female kidnapper who is involved in a series of child kidnappings. The police of Islamabad stated the suspect is under interrogation and that there will be possibly shocking discoveries.

The police returned the recovered child to his parents. After the child recovered, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTS) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) contacted the parents over a video call.

Police officials stated the parents were ecstatic to see their child and expressed gratitude to the Islamabad Police. Islamabad Inspector General (IG) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi came to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) office to meet the child and congratulated DIG, SSP Operations, SSP Investigation, CTD SSP, and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) SP.

Islamabad IG Rizvi also congratulated the CIA in-charge, all members of the team, and all officers involved in the recovery of the child and the arrest of the kidnapper.

And announced cash awards. Police officers stated that the child was traced to the safe city cameras and some human resources. IG Rizvi said that the Islamabad Police teams are highly professional and hardworking.
