ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the extension of austerity measures until June 30, 2026.

According to the details, the orders to reduce fuel consumption in government vehicles by 50 percent and ground 60 percent of government vehicles have also been extended until June 30.

Similarly, the ban on foreign visits by government officers and officials will remain in place until June 30. The Cabinet Division issued a notification after the recommendation of the special committee and the approval of the Prime Minister.
