Protest call in Islamabad, Red Zone to be completely sealed

ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to completely seal the Red Zone in Islamabad following a call for protest against the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

According to the details, security has been put on high alert in the federal capital following a call for protest against the assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei.

Containers have been ordered in the Red Zone, and preparations are underway to close important routes, while it has been decided to completely seal the Red Zone tomorrow.

In addition, security has been further tightened at the Parliament, diplomatic enclave, and important government buildings, and security at Imambargahs and religious places has also been increased.

Police, Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies have been instructed to remain alert, and a heavy police contingent will be deployed in the Red Zone and its surroundings.

Additional personnel will be deployed at sensitive locations, and surveillance of internal and external routes has been tightened.

In view of security concerns, a special security plan has been drawn up, and strict measures have been taken by the administration to maintain law and order.
