ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its latest report revealed that social media users in Pakistan have crossed 303 million.
According to the PTA’s July 2024 data, Pakistani has 303.21 million profiles across several social media platforms, a substantial rise of 86 million as compared to 217.1 million users in January 2023.
YouTube is at the top with 71.70 million, consisting of 23.65% of total users across the social media in the country whereas Facebook stands second with 60.40 million users with 19.92% out of total.
Furthermore, PTA revealed that TitTok has 54.30 million (17.91%) users, the third highest whereas Messenger is fourth with 18.8 million (16.46%) local accounts.
Moreover, Snapchat has 30.21 million (9.96%) users, Instagram has 18.50 million (6.10%), and LinkedIn has 13.70 million (4.52%) account holders in Pakistan.
