PTI leader quits over anti-army statements

MUZAFFARABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is facing a strong reaction in the party over its anti-army statements.

PTI President Major (retd) Tariq Mahmood from Samahni Tehsil of Bhimber District of Azad Kashmir has announced his separation from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Major (retd) Tariq Mahmood said that he cannot be a part of a party that has intentions against the Pakistan Army.

He clarified that he is leaving the party in protest against the ongoing statements against the Pakistan Army.

He said that the homeland and the Pakistan Army are his top priority and he will always stand by them.

It should be noted that recently, DG ISPR, while holding a press conference, called Imran Khan mentally ill and said that Pakistan comes first.
