Dhaka mass grave: 114 bodies discovered

DHAKA: A Mass grave was excavated in Dhaka, bodies of 114 people were likely found.

International media say that the bodies are likely those who died in the crackdown during the Hasina-Wajid era, and the process of exhuming the mass grave is being carried out with the help of the United Nations.

The excavation of the mass grave began yesterday. DNA is difficult, and research from bones takes time. Reburial will be carried out according to religious rites.

According to international media, Argentine forensic expert Luis Fondi Breeder is providing advice. He has decades of experience in mass grave recovery and identification campaigns around the world.
