PTI to observe shutter-down strike on Feb 8 2026

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Punjab ordered a total shutterdown strike on February 8, 2026.

An important circular has come from PTI Punjab Chief Organizer Alia Hamza, in which she has asked for plans related to street mobility.

She has also asked for action plans in relation to the shutdown within 24 hours.

The strategies for the protest and the involvement of members will be detailed by the leadership of the Punjab party.

The circular further states that the consequences for failing to submit the required strategies will be tougher action from the party leadership.
