QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has taken immediate notice of the issue of disruption in treatment under health cards in some hospitals of the province.
The Chief Minister has sought an immediate report from the officials of the Health Department and Health Card Program and has directed the Provincial Health Minister to resolve the matter immediately.
The Chief Minister clarified that the treatment of no patient under the Health Card should not be stopped, and the dues of all hospitals should be paid as soon as possible so that poor patients can get their medical facilities without interruption.
Sarfaraz Bugti directed that the treatment of poor and needy patients through the Health Card should continue, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.
The Chief Minister has directed the Health Department to monitor the matter and take immediate steps to save the patients from any kind of difficulty.
This step by the provincial government shows the determination to provide quality health facilities to the poor and needy and ensures transparency and prompt payment in the administrative affairs of the hospitals.
