MUZAFFARABAD: On the ocassion of the death anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) governmnet has announced a public holiday across Azad Kashmir.
According to the notification issued by the AJK governmnet, the public holiday will be observed across Azad Kashmir on December 27, 2025.
All public and private schools will remain closed, whereas the offices will also get an off. Earlier, the federal government announced a public holiday today amid the arrival of the UAE President.
According to the notification, all federal offices in Islamabad will remain closed. The government has canceled the first explanatory notification and issued a new notification.
According to the new notification, hospitals, banks, essential services offices, MCI, and CDA offices will remain open; district administration, police, IESCO, and Sui Northern Gas offices will also remain open.
