Punjab announces multiple jobs in various departments, Check how to apply inside

LAHORE: Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has declared new vacancies for eligible and passionate persons in different departments. All the posts are for a one-year contract, extendable on performance.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced on the social media website X (formerly Twitter), urging candidates to apply and join the department. He also uploaded the official link for the application process.

Job Opportunities at PHEC

Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has various vacancies, including Director General, Director, Deputy Director, Personal Staff Officer, Assistant Director, Accountant, Network Assistant, and Research Assistant. Salaries will be awarded on a lump-sum package.

Besides that, PHEC has advertised vacancies for the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Chief Minister of Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Scheme. The PMU will facilitate implementation, fund management, and monitoring of the scholarship program.

Jobs at Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) are Project Manager, Data Analyst, Web Developer, Network Administrator, Finance Officer, IT Assistant, Graphic Designer, Social Media Executive, Video Editor, Cameraman, Help Desk Representatives, Driver, and Office Attendant.

Application Procedure for Punjab Jobs

The interested applicants can apply for jobs through their online application by 23rd or 25th September 2025 (depending on the vacancy).

  • A signed hard copy of the online application form, CV, CNIC, educational and professional certificates, and a recent photograph should be mailed through courier or registered post by 24th or 26th September 2025, 5:00 PM.
  • Applications will be entertained only after the deposit of the prescribed bank draft or deposit slip:
  • Rs. 2,000 for Director General/Director
  • Rs. 1,500 for Deputy Director, Project Manager, Data Analyst, Web Developer
  • Rs. 1,000 for Assistant Director, Finance Officer, IT Assistant, Graphic Designer, Social Media Executive, etc.
  • Rs. 500 for Driver, Office Attendant/Naib Qasid
  • The payment is to be made at the Bank of Punjab (Account No. 6580045615700054, Branch Code 0320).

Requirements

  • Applicants should possess a Punjab domicile.
  • Separate applications are to be made for each post, and the post name should be written clearly on the envelope.
  • Government employees are required to apply through the proper channel with a departmental NOC.
    Shortlisted candidates only will be invited to take tests or interviews.
  • Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has said that it maintains merit-based recruitment in accordance with government policy and has the right to add or subtract posts or even cancel the recruitment process without specifying a reason.
