Punjab announces two-day public holidays on Feb 6–7

LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced two holidays.

The Punjab government has issued a formal notification, the Punjab government has announced public holidays on February 6 and 7, 2026.

Friday and Saturday, February 6 and 7, will be official holidays in the province of Punjab, February 5 will be Kashmir Day in Punjab and February 8 will be Sunday, thus the public will benefit from four holidays.

The Services and General Administration Department has issued a formal notification of two holidays, educational institutions and government offices across Punjab will remain closed for two days.

Public holidays will apply throughout the province of Punjab, the Punjab government has also issued a formal notification of a public holiday on Kashmir Day.
