Man sentenced to 32 years of imprisonment
LAHORE: The Punjab Board of Revenue (BOR) has approved a system of monitoring and accountability of revenue courts in the province and has approved the formation of two monitoring and accountability committees for the purpose.
The idea was presented by Senior Member Board of Revenue Nabeel Javed in various meetings of the Board which was unanimously approved. The formulation of the procedure was entrusted to Member (Taxes) Zaman Wattoo.
The minutes show that the Board of Revenue had approved the constitution of two Monitoring and Accountability Committees in exercise of powers under Section 4 of the Punjab Board of Revenue Act, 1957.
Guidance was also sought from District Judiciary Monitoring System of Lahore High Court for determining the terms of reference of the committees.
