LAHORE: In a recent development, the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated a new initiative under the Kissan Package to transform tube wells operated by fuel or electricity to solar energy consumption.
The project aims to reduce the energy costs for framers and to ease pressure on the province’s energy sector. The farmers utilizing the tube well installed before October 30,2024 are eligible to apply, whereas, the application deadline is December 31,2024.
