LAHORE: The Punjab Excise & Taxation Department has opened the registration for auctions of attractive vehicle number plates for December 2025.
As per the details, the applicants can register through the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)-developed e-Auction App and Web Portal.
Citizens can register online and secure their preferred number plate from the comfort of their homes until December 30.
The e-Auction platform includes auction categories for motorcycle, motorcar, and commercial vehicle number plates.
The excise department said that details of successful bidders are also made available directly on the e-Auction App, ensuring transparency and ease of access for all participants.
In his message, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that the digital e-Auction system has completely transformed the traditional number plate auction process.
“By digitizing the entire mechanism, we have made it more accessible, transparent, and user-friendly, enabling citizens to conveniently obtain their desired number plates without visiting any office,” he added.
