ISLAMABAD: YouTube has added a new feature that will provide details about the videos, topics, and channels watched by the user throughout the year.

This feature called YouTube Recaps has been introduced to users and has adopted the story style format found in social media apps.

In this format, 12 different cards will appear, by clicking on which you will be able to know about the YouTube videos watched throughout the year.

You can see this feature in the YouTube app.

For this, open the app and click on the You tab at the bottom.

If your recap is available, you will see a recap banner at the top.

Similarly, you can also view it by going to www.youtube.com/recap, but it is necessary that the company has prepared your recap.

If you have listened to music on YouTube for at least 10 hours throughout the year, some music summaries will include a recap.

This feature will not be available worldwide, but users in some regions will miss it.

Similarly, it will not be available on children’s accounts.
