ISLAMABAD (APP): The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Alumni Association Founders Group successfully organized a Quaidians Meet-up and Mango Party, bringing together old students of QAU from across Pakistan.
The event, which celebrated the enduring bond among alumni, was a vibrant gathering marked by camaraderie and shared memories.
During the meet-up, it was announced that like the previous years, in celebration of the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan, the QAU alumni, in collaboration with its partners, will plant approximately ten thousand trees across the country.
This initiative is part of the alumni’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the well-being of future generations.
Additionally, the association plans to establish three fruit orchards within the premises of QAU, further contributing to the university’s green environment.
The gathering also focused on the collective responsibility of supporting young Quaidians in their professional journeys.
It was vowed that the QAU alumni will intensify its efforts in providing continuous mentorship, internships, and job opportunities to young graduates, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in their careers.
The participants expressed their deep appreciation for the QAU Alumni Association’s sustained contributions over the past two decades. The association’s commitment to various welfare projects has had a lasting impact on the QAU community, reflecting its dedication to the university’s legacy and its alumni.
