ISLAMABAD: The National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), which belongs to the National Disaster Management Authority, has published its highly-awaited Ramadan 2026 weather forecast, which brings comfort to millions who are getting ready for the sacred month.

The NEOC reports that most areas throughout Pakistan will experience pleasant weather conditions during Ramadan, which will bring comfortable fasting conditions because daytime temperatures will increase and nighttime temperatures will remain cool.

Throughout the first ten days of Ramadan, which are known as the first Ashra, most regions will experience dry weather conditions, which will be interrupted by light rain that is expected to fall in northern and western regions.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern Balochistan areas will experience cold temperatures during the nighttime hours.

The NEOC report notes that temperatures are expected to increase slightly in the second ten days (second Ashra), with scattered rain likely in northern parts, Central Punjab, and the Pothohar region.

The region will experience windstorms together with thunderstorm activity, which will occur in specific areas during this time period.

The Last Ashra period will bring forecasts for increased rainfall that will cover multiple regions across the nation, together with intermittent showers, which will affect northern Pakistan and central Punjab areas.

The southern regions of Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan will experience a temperature increase, which will reach its peak at the conclusion of Ramadan.

The NDMA has emphasized the importance of timely early warnings and preparedness, urging the public and relevant institutions to stay updated on evolving weather conditions.

The weather forecast for this Ramadan period shows various conditions, which will start with mild weather but end with high temperatures, so people can plan their fasting times, traveling needs, and outdoor activities throughout different regions.
