PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a special Ramadan package for deserving citizens on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, under which financial assistance will be provided to 1 million families across the province. Each deserving family will be given Rs. 12,500.

According to officials, to benefit from this package, citizens will have to contact the relevant Nazim, Councilor or Local President of their area.

How can eligible individuals apply?

Applicants will write their active mobile number on a copy of their national identity card, while the name of the mobile company must also be entered, such as Jazz, Ufone or other network, etc.

Copies of the identity cards will be sent to the district administration through local representatives. After the verification process is completed, the assistance amount will be released through the identity card number of the deserving individuals in a few days.

After receiving the code, the deserving individual will go to the nearest Easypaisa shop and show his identity card and the received code. After biometric verification, i.e. thumbprinting, an amount of Rs. 12,500 can be collected.

The administration says that this amount will be released in a completely secure manner and no other person will be able to collect the money without the permission of the concerned individual and biometric verification.
